Growing fast with systems that couldn’t keep up

WildeBrands distributes high-quality balance bikes and mobility gear for children. As the business expanded, operations became more complex.

While Shopify, Xero, and Starshipit were somewhat integrated, they did not provide a single source of truth. To fulfill an order, Amy had to start in Shopify to see the customer’s purchase, then pack the order, and finally log into Starshipit to organise shipping and print a label. This manual, multi-system workflow was slow and prone to error.

A major inventory challenge arose with bundled items. To display bundles on the Shopify store, Amy had to create a separate "fake" stock quantity for them, which created a disconnect. In reality, the bundle items were the same as the non-bundled items, leading to inaccurate inventory counts. Inventory numbers also had to be manually updated in Xero, a time-consuming task that introduced the risk of human error.

WildeBrands needed a solution that could unify its systems, provide a systematic way to perform pick-pack-ship, and provide accurate, up-to-date inventory visibility, especially for its bundle products.
